SAVVII Group Inc. is searching for a Senior Manager – Consumer Credit Cards who has a passion to build and run a high growth product portfolio. The candidate must have a clear understanding of Credit Card Portfolio management and expresses a deep understanding of how the credit card life cycle functions. You will need to show an ability to create market wining MVP tailored benefits and value to different market segments and personas. At SAVVII, we are aiming to bring to market a disruptive credit card product suite which will bring a whole new meaning to the lending industry. You will be reporting to the Head of Retail Business at SAVVII and will be working with a team of high performing dynamic individuals possessing a huge wealth of banking and fintech experience. Your core purpose in this role will be to define, develop, manage and evolve SAVVII’s credit products and cultivate cross functional engagement to deliver a leading lending franchise.

Your role:

The role will require you to own and lead the entire credit card product life cycle as well as manage the P&L. As a product owner, you will be fully responsible for challenges in occurring w.r.t day to day product management. The role will evolve you into a leader responsible for grooming portfolio and product managers as the portfolio hits critical mass. A passion to deliver value centric products for customers will distinguish you from conventional product managers. An analytical mind set will bring in revenue and cost efficiencies to your portfolio; The ability to prioritize competing priorities and lead your team through pressure challenges will place you at the epicenter of the SAVVII core team.


  • Conceptualize, develop and lead to market the full suite of SAVVII consumer cards which will include the SAVVII Core, Secured, World and World Elite Card.
  • Work closely with SAVVII product managers to develop an integrated and a unified product management journey ensuring that the SAVVII mobile app is positioned as mobile first experience for customers.
  • Lead the entire product management life cycle straight from acquisition all the way till the retention stage. The ability to drive each stage on the life cycle and put in place strategies to efficiently manage activation, spend and retention will be key to this role.
  • Work with the project team during the build journey and own the end-to-end product delivery tracker.
  • Work with marketing to finalize the product collaterals, communication materials as well as lead the digital acquisition strategy via different digital mediums to attain growth KPIs for the year.
  • Continuously liaise with MasterCard to obtain product approvals, card design approvals and lead Commercial business agreements.
  • Coordinate with risk a balanced approach towards growth, delinquencies and credit losses ensuring that the portfolio KPIs are within acceptable loss rates.
  • Be able to create and deliver winning presentations; This means that you have a passion to continue evolving products and features in-line with ever changing customer needs and a hunger to have your pitch approved by the management.
  • Create a stable operating rhythm with the analytics, IT, compliance, risk and fraud team ensuring internal SLAs and procedures remain in place with each of these stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors for CRs as well as new implementations. This would include the ability to roll out RFIs, evaluate proposals and finally be able to conclude MSAs.
  • Possess a deep understanding of AUM and be able to drive ENR via organic and inorganic growth strategies. The ability to present growth indicators via quick view dashboards reflecting spends, revenue, cost, AUM, activation/retention rates on new and vintage bookings as well as monitor installment plans & balance transfers will be key to running the portfolio book.
  • Lead the MDES implementation plan and adopt strategies to drive digital adoption.

  • 10+ years of experience in Consumer Lending or Product Management
  • Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
  • Best in class presentation skills with an expertise in excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong experience in developing and implementing digital growth strategies
  • Experience in working with network schemes
