QA ANALYST

We are looking for a seasoned QA Analyst to build automated QA processes using Selenium, Appium and Postman. This position requires a detailed self-starter personality with a keen ability to test, identify and find solutions. You enjoy being in QA and the cloud and are steadfast in improving the customer experience and protecting the customer journey. You are interested in the various business units of an organization and unpack how and why the customers use the product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with engineering and product to innovate QA processes, advocate for testing during planning, and participate in code reviews
  • Develop and maintain automated test cases using Selenium, Appium and Postman
  • Develop and maintain load tests
  • Perform functional/non-functional, ETL, analysis, regression, and performance testing
  • Use SQL to validate test data
  • Review and validate the data flow across multiple systems
  • Document and track defects in JIRA
  • Research testing principles and best practices
  • Work with customer support to help reproduce problems reported by customers
  • Generate build reports and assess release readiness of builds
  • Work with business units to provide operational support of production environments
  • Act as a technical escalation for troubleshooting complex issues and manage incidents

YOUR PROFILE

  • Knowledge of agile software development life cycle and mobile/web-based application testing
  • Familiar with unit test development
  • Experience with testing cloud-based applications
  • Comfortable in GIT/JIRA
  • Practical experience using scripting languages to support AWS administration
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to performance monitoring tools (ie DataDog, New Relic, AppDynamics, etc)
  • Exposure to logging/monitoring using tools (ie Kibana, ElasticSearch, Splunk, etc)
  • Able to identify problems and effectively communicate solutions to peers and management
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate with people with a variety of skill sets
  • Able to adapt to rapidly changing requirements
  • Understanding of payment processing technologies, a serious plus
  • Experience integrating multiple, interdependent, distributed systems and applications
  • Able to document and train on CI/CD standard methodologies with our IT and engineering teams
  • Should be comfortable and able to present ideas to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Able to mentor fellow team members in both technical and process related area

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Five or more years actively using Selenium and Appium
  • Two or more years using Postman
  • Two or more years using load testing tools (ie Webload, JMeter, etc)
  • Demonstrable experience testing websites built in React and React Native
  • Working knowledge of SQL
