SAVVII Group Inc. is searching for a Public Relations Lead to oversee its comprehensive public relations and communications strategy. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing to define, develop, and unify branding, maximize media value for Savvii products and cultivate community engagement and high visibility with a consistent voice.

SAVVII Group Inc. is searching for a Public Relations Lead to oversee its comprehensive public relations and communications strategy. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing to define, develop, and unify branding, maximize media value for SAVVII products and cultivate community engagement and high visibility with a consistent voice.

YOUR ROLE

Create and oversee SAVVII’s public relations strategy. Disseminate information on policies and initiatives to the general public and SAVVII employees. Write and edit newsletters, news releases, annual reports, website and social media postings, and related event and presentation materials. Create and manage community relations and public information campaigns on behalf of SAVVII Group Inc. and its products and services. Work includes frequent oral and written communication, creation of documents and reports, and use of social media, photography, and video.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage Corporate PR and Corporate Social Responsibility programs across all channels and be an active part of our content and corporate website team.
  • Develop social media channels (B2B and B2C) to drive awareness and interest.
  • Work together with other departments to understand their communications needs and incorporate their news proactively into our communication plans.
  • Position SAVVII Group Inc. spokespeople via editorials, opinion pieces, interviews, and speaking engagements.
  • Develop targeted strategies, key messages, storylines, press material and interview briefings.
  • Develop new relationships with key media at a national level.
  • Prepare compelling slide decks and write speeches for key spokespeople.
  • Develop strong internal relationships and consult with key departments regarding Corporate PR topics and communication strategies
  • Actively contribute to the production of events, e.g. quarterly town halls, and QA sessions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate Communications & PR – agency or in-house.
  • Excellent communications, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent writing and story pitching skills.
  • Strong experience in developing and implementing PR strategies for different corporate target groups.
  • Experience in working with agencies, freelancers, and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and great skills in WordPress.
  • SEO skills are a plus.
