Your role:

Ultimately, this role will help to find simple ways to empower members to feel in complete control of their financial health each day. These roles will report to the Heads of Product, with a lot of interaction/visibility with the senior leadership team and CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the product vision, strategy, value proposition, end-to-end customer journey and roadmap, including maintaining a detailed product backlog. Actively manage, monitor and drive product forecasting and results.
  • Overall responsibility to monitor business performance, identify levers for improving profitability and manage the implementation of the feature roadmap. Maximize the shopping and buying acquisition funnel from application through to product activation, in addition to driving engagement and utilization within customer Mobile App, and secured experience.
  • Develop, assess and execute tactics and new business opportunities to grow the Credit Card Debit Card and Prepaid Cards business, including new partnership opportunities and strategically important new features and capabilities relevant to the business.
  • Develop business cases by identifying customer needs, analyzing potential options, and assessing expected returns on investment for new strategic business opportunities and capabilities.
  • Formulate a go-to-market strategy that will set the business up for success over the long term.
  • Partner closely with product colleagues, marketing, digital performance and technology leads to identify new opportunities and execute optimizations.
  • Develop, maintain and communicate product research associated with competitive offers, consumer trends and macro influences. new card acquisition offers and strategies.
  • Project manage key initiatives, creating oversight for interconnected work packages with cross-functional partners such as marketing, finance, operations, risk and technology.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary education required; (Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering preferred).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in product management (credit card or prepaid card or debit card and accounts) or payments.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Canadian FinTech or Financial Services marketplace and a solid understanding of credit and deposit products and services.
  • Exposure to customer acquisition and account management in a previous role.
  • A detailed understanding of financial product financials with prior P&L management experience is an asset.
