HR MANAGER

Savvii Group Inc. is searching for an HR Manager to help management and employees maintain good relations. You will act as a liaison between managers and employees to solve problems and help people communicate with each other effectively while making sure everyone is treated fairly. The HR Manager will be in charge of a team responsible for keeping records of employees while helping Managers decide when to make reprimands, employee terminations, pay raises, or awards. With the current pandemic and changes to company policies regarding COVID-19, the HR department will make sure Savvii Group follows these protocols set by the government.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Savvii Group Inc. is searching for an HR Manager to help management and employees maintain good relations. You will act as a liaison between managers and employees to solve problems and help people communicate with each other effectively while making sure everyone is treated fairly. The HR Manager will be in charge of a team responsible for keeping records of employees while helping Managers decide when to make reprimands, employee terminations, pay raises, or awards. With the current pandemic and changes to company policies regarding COVID-19, the HR department will make sure Savvii Group follows these protocols set by the government.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and other regulations
  • Reviewing performance evaluations and other reports.
  • Training new employees and working with department heads to create training programs.
  • Helping Managers decide on salaries to offer to new hires.
  • Answering questions from employees, and recording and investigating complaints when needed.
  • Using software to monitor employees’ vacation days and training tasks they completed (Bamboo HR).
  • Using surveys and other methods to keep track of employee morale.
  • Developing human resources programs, policies, and procedures; resolving disputes in the workplace, and developing training and continuing education programs for employees.
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events.
  • Staying updated with COVID-19 protocols and making sure they are implemented around the company.
  • Encourage everyone to work together and get along well with each other, improving Savvii’s work environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A degree in Human Resources.
  • At least 3+ years of prior experience in the industry.
  • Strong coaching, communicating and de-escalating skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws.
